New Player Lesson
Have you been wanting to give this pickleball thing a try? Feeling unsure about how to get started? Sign up for a New Player Lesson to learn the basics of the game and meet other new players. Click below to view the calendar for date options and secure your spot. Each person attending needs a reservation to participate. The lesson is about one hour. Maximum of 8 participants to 2 instructors. We will provide all equipment needed. Please show up with good tennis shoes because safety is important. During the lesson you will learn the basics of the game and how to start playing at Sawyer Point. Once you have reserved your spot, scroll down to watch our “Getting Started…Introduction to Pickleball" videos (courtesy of Better Pickleball). You will want to watch these videos before you arrive for your session.
Ball Machine

Need to work on your dinking game? Maybe your third shot drop is not "dropping" how it should. Whatever part of your pickleball game needs work, the high-tech ball machine will throw many different looks at you. In a sport like pickleball, where repetition & consistency are so important we think that our members would greatly benefit from using the ball machine. ---------------------------------------------------------- ***For insurance liability purposes, the ball machine can only be rented by MEMBERS of Pickleball at Sawyer Point.
